Where were we? Where are we now? Where are we going? Inquiries as such question the stance the Arab world is at. History is inalterable, that is a fact. However, what history are we making today? The paradox, therefore, exists here. Do we move forward and let go of the past, or should we live in the past and choose not to move forward? My answer lies here: this should not be a choice, we should think of the past and the future as a form of parallelism. This issue attempts to portray this parallelism that Kuwait is testing. It is an experience and an attempt- an attempt to move forward while subconsciously keeping in mind what existed in the past; it is an attempt to question and an attempt to change, while remaining the same.
