SUSTAINABILITY

In 1997, we started as a small department relatively unknown. And here we are in 2007, 10 years later and embarking on to the next 10. We have grown to foster the needs of architecture in Kuwait and come to graduate students that have shaped and influenced the world that we live in. We have chosen to focus on a few topics in this issue; the first being, Sustainability, with the aim of explaining, clarifying, and shedding light to issues that seem unknown. As for the second, this magazine will also be a celebration to the achievements, developments, and talents that have surfaced in the past ten years in the department.
